Isotonix OPC-3 Makes you Feel Good - Part 1

One year ago, I started taking Isotoix OPC-3, since I was simply recommended by a friend. I thought I didn't have any medical challenges and I was pretty healthy. Anyway, I wanted to try the supplement to maximize my health.

Before taking any supplements, I was recommended to detoxify my body so that my system will be clean and will be ready to absorb good nutritions.  So, I started detox with NutriClean 7 Day Cleansing System. During the 7 days, I could not have any junk food, sweets or even coffee.  I had to consume a lot of vegetables, fruits, whole grain foods, and good source of proteins as regular meals.  I usually eat those healthy foods, but the difficult part was to not eat ANY junk food or sweets and to not drink ANY coffee!

In the first day or two, I was about to go crazy mostly for not taking any coffee even in the morning nor chocolates at night! But after that, amazingly I was OK without any of those.  Rather, I felt even better.  You get used to it.  You should try this if you have preference over particular foods which are not good for your health.  However, on the fifth day or so, I had to drive more than three hours at night to go to my daughter’s cross country regional meet.  Dryving at night after a long day is not my thing.  So, I had to drink a cup of coffee on the way, and that was the only time I had coffee during this 7 day detox period.   When I shared a hotel room with another parent, she saw me taking NutriClean and asked me what I was taking.  I honestly said that I was in the period of detox.  After that, she seemed to make sure that she would go to the bathroom before I had to go. So, you should think and plan your schedule in advance if like to detox your system.

Anyway, on the 6th day or so, I finally started to feel the diferrence. My lower abdominal area got flatten and I felt so lighter than before. I am naturally a small person, but I had noticed my bulging lower stomach at that time. So I was so happy just to see my flat stomach again. Then, I realized that flattening lower abdomen was still possible at my middle age.  To summarize, the feeling of the cleansing effect from NutriClean was obvious.

Then, I finally could start to take Isotonix OPC-3.  I will talk about the effect/result in the next blog since it is almost 10:00 pm, close to my bed time.

Good night,everyone there.

The United States Ranked Highest for Obesity among OECD Nations

The Organisation for Economic C-operation and Development, OECD, is an international economic organization composed by thirty four counties.  In its publication of Health at a Glance 2011 released on November 23, 2011, OECD provides an insight of health systems in OECD countries.

According to the comparable data over the past 50 years, life expectancy in OECD countries has improved tremendously.  Japan is the leading nation in this area. Its average life expectancy is 83 year and many other countries follow closely.  Among the 34 countries, the United States ranked as 28th with the life expectancy of 78.2 years, which is below the OECD average of 79.5 years.

Although there are significant improvement in longevity compared to 50 years ago, OECD pointed out that the nature of risk factors is changing.  “The burden of diseases in OECD countries nowadays is linked to lifestyle factors, with tobacco smoking, alcohol consumption, obesity, unhealthy diet and lack of physical activity” pointed out OECD.

Although tobacco and alcohol consumptions have been reduced in the last decades, there is an alarming rise in obesity. The publication stated “Obesity is a key risk factor for numerous chronic conditions. Research shows that severely obese people die 8-10 years earlier than those of normal weight.”  Among the 34 countries, United States has the highest obesity rate among the adult population, which is 34%.  The countries with the lowest rate are Korea and Japan at the rate of 4%.

Santander's Bankers are at Risk of Heart Disease

There is an interesting article on the Bloomberg web site; About half of middle-aged staff tested at Banco Santander SA, the biggest bank in Spain, show early stage disease of the arteries that could cause heart attacks or strokes.

The article pointed out “The issue of banker stress has hit the headlines this month with news that Antonio Harte Osorio, 47, a former head of Santander’s U.K. business, had taken leave from his post as chief executive officer of Lloyds Banking Group Plc because of fatigue.”

According to the Madrid-based National Center for Cardiovascular Research known as CNIC, Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in the world with 1.9 million fatalities a year in the European Union alone.

High cholesterol diet, sedentary lifestyle, smoking and obesity contribute cardiovascular disease.  According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), "785,000 Americans have a first heart attack every year, and another 470,000 who have already had one or more heart attacks have another attack." CDC also stated that the heart disease costs the U.S. $316.4 million in total  in 2010 alone.

Prevention care has been talked for a decade, and we individually have to take active responsibility to oversea our health.  Change your life style; move around, eat less and healthy diet, exercise regularly, rest well and get educated. Not only bankers are at risk of having heart diseases but also all of us, if we don't take proactive measurement.
